Who we are

Fix My Fixtures is operated by Fix My Fixtures Ltd. We provide a platform that helps sports clubs find and arrange fixtures with other clubs. For data-related enquiries, contact support@fixmyfixture.co.uk.

What data we collect

When you register or use the app, we may collect:

  • Club name and contact name
  • Email address and optional phone number
  • Club location, region and home ground address
  • GPS coordinates if you choose to use the detect location feature
  • Team information such as age groups and match-day preferences
  • Fixture requests, match history and app usage information needed to deliver the service

We do not collect payment card details directly. Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment providers.

How we use your data

Your data is used to operate and improve the service, including:

  • Matching your teams with compatible opponents
  • Showing your club profile in search results to other clubs
  • Sending fixture request notifications and service updates
  • Helping confirmed match partners exchange the details needed to arrange a fixture
  • Improving the app experience and feature performance

We do not sell your personal data.

Data sharing

When a fixture request is accepted by both clubs, limited contact details may be shared between those matched clubs so that they can complete the fixture arrangement. We may also use service providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting, authentication, analytics and payment providers.

Location data

If you choose to use location detection, your device’s GPS coordinates may be stored against your club profile to support accurate distance-based matching. Location access is optional and you can manually enter a town or city instead.

Data retention

We retain account data while your account remains active. Fixture requests and match history may be retained for up to 24 months for operational, dispute-resolution and product-improvement purposes. If you request account deletion, personal data is removed within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days unless we need to retain limited information for legal or security reasons.

Your rights

Under applicable UK data protection law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data, and in some circumstances request data portability. To exercise these rights, email support@fixmyfixture.co.uk.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected.

Cookies and analytics

The mobile app does not rely on browser cookies in the same way as a website. We may use limited analytics to understand app performance and feature usage. Analytics data should not include unnecessary personally identifiable information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be posted here and may also be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
